RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Procurement:
-Analyze and perform new supplier evaluation and selection, create vendor
profile, and maintain database
-Develop/forge successful partnership roles with key suppliers and communicate
Company needs and objectives and managing the competitiveness on the cost of
materials;
-Develop potential partnership suppliers; negotiate & form contracts /
agreements; implement agreements; drive compliance; monitor and audit
agreements;
-Create and maintain purchasing raw material master data in the system that
allows Buyer to proceed with efficient order and payment;
-Set up, track, review, and timely report sourcing trends, budgets, savings,
vendor performance, results of bidding, and negotiations;
-As part of APAC Procurement group, participate to regional activities on an ad-
hoc basis, assist and help other Procurement personnel to conduct activities in
Korea.
Production Scheduling:
-Review orders daily; work with Production / Supply Chain Planner / Logistics
to organize schedule changes to ensure no backlogs based on production schedules
Consolidates purchase forecasts for assigned products.
-Prepare production schedule and optimize the use of available resources and co-
ordinate with related departments to ensure product, volume and shipment are
meeting customers' requirements.
-Monitor raw materials for production and evaluate the effectiveness of current
strategies, such as stock levels and order lead time. Replenish and issue
Purchase Orders for raw materials in accordance to requirements.
-Coordinate with production and warehouse to ensure timely and effective
transfer of materials including prompt goods receipt into the SAP system.
Analyze customer demand (forecast) with Supply Chain Planner for capacity
planning and finished products replenishment.
*Packaging scheduling
*Material transfers between plant and warehouse
REQUIREMENTS:
-Above BS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or
Business Administration preferred
-About 5~8 years experience in multinational company in procurement on vendor
evaluation & selection, pricing methods, contract reviews, commodity research
methodology, and reporting
-Chemical related experience is preferred
-Experience with SAP is preferred
-Good knowledge of MS Office software applications
-Good communication skill of English both speaking and writing (must)
