Job Title : Sr.Technical Application Engineer(Plastic)_차,부장급 Company : Multinational plastic company Location : Seoul Date : ASAP Job Functions -Lead concurrent multiple formulation, new product development, and application development projects for Electronics components; ensure quality, efficacy, processing capabilities and cost effectiveness; deliver in accordance with agreed upon deadlines -Fulfill technical work request, design experiment, perform lab test and analysis, and write up report to meet technical targets of customer projects -Visit key customers, provide on-site technical service such as guidance for material selection, part design, tool cutting, machine section, and processing guidance, need to be very familiar with Injection molding process -Provide technical support to local sales activities such as sampling, customer trials, etc. -Develop related application processing skill and knowledge, train customer’s technician in lab and provide technical service/ trouble shooting in the field -Work closely with sales/marketing team and customer on the new application development project -Give technical presentation to customers and commercial partners, keep close contact with the industry and be updated with the latest technology -Work together with sales team, QA and production team to handle customer quality complaint -Keep communication with Lubrizol technical community, be updated on new product development and new processing technology development -Anticipate, determine and understand customer needs & expectations and market trends Qualifications -Bachelor and above degree in Polymers, Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related subjects -10 years hands-on experience in polymer processing, e.g. compounding, injection molding, etc. -8 years hands-on experience in testing and characterization of polymer properties -Experience in application development with OEMs, especially spec-in process -Good knowledge of polymer processing and formulations -In-depth understanding of polymer structure-processing-property relationship -Strong analytical and problem anticipation & solving skills; innovative, ability to think outside the box and generate creative approaches -Ability to set objectives and identify resources/processes necessary to accomplish goals -Self-starter, ability to work independently; highly motivated towards goals & objectives -Excellent organization and planning skills; multitasking -Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication, presentation, and listening skills; ability to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences (internal & external) -Strong team spirit -Fluency in oral and written English -Previous project lead/management experience will be a plus
