Responsibility:
-Foster a climate of teamwork and motivation within the organization both
operationally as the leader of the plant leadership team and by encouraging
professional development and growth of its employees.
-Enhance organizational efficiency by driving engagement, responsibility and
accountability down to the lowest level in the organizational structure.
-Develop a firm and fair relationship with employees.
-Promote and adapt cellular working ; evaluate and introduce new networking
-Improve safety, environmental, and health systems, quality, productivity
utilizing simple and appropriate management systems.
-Be a constant communicator with high visibility (particularly on the shop
floor), getting things done by interacting with others and being a role model
to the leadership team members.
-Lead the drive to ensure that each key position is staffed by a high quality
professional, committed to the goals of the facility.
-Responsible for the preparation of cost control reports, cost estimates and
staffing and facilities requirements forecasts.
Requirement:
-Above BS degree in engineering related
-Minimum of 10 years in Manufacturing roles and 5 years with significant
management responsibility running a production facility.
-Must have experience worked in international environment, for a US or European
multinational or other blue chip manufacturing company, where the management
culture encouraged the highest standards of performance and teamwork.
-Proven skills as an effective leader and motivator of people, setting an
example in the application of high professional standards with a commitment to
empowerment of the work force.
-Must offer proven experience of managing change or innovation in a
manufacturing process environment and how it was achieved.
-Must have experience of leading production operations in a unionized
environment.
-Fluent in English both speaking and writing (must) |
