Responsibilities:

- Actively drive Direct sales of polymers products within a diversified
customer portfolio.
- Emphasis will be on identifying key growth opportunities in the territory by
applying principles of strategic account leadership including productivity
initiatives.
- The ability to drive growth through closing new business at current
customers, closing new business at new customers, and gaining market share
from competitors are essential components of job success.
- This person will work closely with the customer base and sales manager to
achieve sales and contribution margin growth, and will collaborate with the
sales manager on forecasting, prospecting target accounts, and territory
technical needs.
- Position involves direct selling, utilizing technical resources, and
positioning superior technology to grow a current territory.

Requirements:

- Strong sales background with minimum 2 years direct selling or equivalent
related experience required.
- BS required-Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or other technical
discipline.
- Qualities critical to success include strong technical sales and negotiation
skills and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Candidate must demonstrate strategic commercial skills and results and must
be able to interface and influence all levels of customer's organization.
- Good communication skills and self-motivated.
- Willing to travel.


Desired:
- Previous industrial chemical, plastics or polymers sales experience.
- English fluency both verbal and written.
