Job Title : Senior Product Development Engineer Company : Multinational Chemical Company Location : Seoul Date : ASAP Responsibility: -Responsible for leading projects involving new product and application development of polymer materials for semiconductor/electronic applications. -Technical support to local sales/marketing activities such as sampling, customer trials, presentations, etc. -Lead formulation, new product development, and application development of polymer materials used in a variety of electronic applications; ensure quality, efficacy, processing capabilities and cost effectiveness -Plan and conduct (when necessary) polymer compounding, sheet extrusion, injection molding, and thermoforming of polymer products -Plan and conduct (when necessary) polymer testing and interpret experimental results -Provide technical support to local sales activities such as sampling, customer trials, etc. -Work closely with the global synthesis, measurement science, and manufacturing team Requirement: -M.S. and above degree Polymers, Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related subjects -5+ years hands-on experience in polymer processing, e.g. compounding, injection molding, etc. -5+ years hands-on experience in testing and characterization of polymer properties -Experience in application development with OEMs, especially electronic industry spec-in process -Good knowledge of polymer processing and formulations -Familiarity with thermoplastic polyurethane and other thermoplastic elastomers -In-depth understanding of polymer structure-processing-property relationship -Strong analytical and problem anticipation & solving skills; innovative, ability to think outside the box and generate creative approaches -Fluency in oral and written English -Previous project management,supervisory and working experience at a global company
