Job Title : Global Technology Director-Electronic materials Company : Multinational electronic materials company Location : Seoul or Japan Date : ASAP Responsibility: -Responsible for leading the global Electronics R&D Team of approximately 40 employees -Under the leadership of the incumbent, the R&D organization provides primary Electronics platform and application development, formulation, technical service, process development and process support capabilities for the business. -The critical competencies of this Global Technology Leader drive and enable the Electronics organization in maintaining current market leadership in key technologies and in defining new avenues for future volume and geographic growth. -Maintaining and expanding attractive margins in Electronics target segments through new product development is a key accountability. -The incumbent is a critical member of the Electronics Business Team. Coordination with other functional roles such as Transformational Growth, Marketing, Sales, Product Management and Operations. -Manage key external technical relationships at customers, industry groups and academia. Requirement: -PhD in Chemical Engineering -Strong leadership skill, budgeting, planning and management skill -Portfolio management experience -Experience in partnership/collaboration/open innovation -Asia business experience is must.
