Job Title : Scientist of display electronic material Company : Multinational chemical manufacturer Location : Kyunggj Date : ASAP Responsibilities: -Lead and drive technical programs in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders (Technical project team, Marketing team, and Product Management team), customers and external parties. -Follow market trends and customer needs. Propose pipeline programs to address these needs. -Responsible for all project deliverables to be up-to-date in Project Management tool for their projects in an integrated and multi-disciplinary approach with other functions. -Proactively communicate with project members and business stakeholders on project progress towards business goals and address potential gaps/barriers. Actively participate in project reviews and project Gate reviews. -Provide technical expertise in understanding and evaluating materials/application needs through testing and prototyping. Translate market needs into clear technical requirements. -Scope, evaluate and screen existing solutions to help establish firm base for technical program initiation. -Interface with Intellectual Property team to maintain and ensure Intellectual Property coverage in the scope of their projects. -Ensure activities are compliant with safety, regulatory and intellectual property requirements Requirements -M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Polymer/Materials Science/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent -Above 8~10 working experience in materials science/physics and/or application technology, preferably in Electronics, Lighting, and Emerging Industries -Solid understanding and rich experience in materials science and physics of emerging application technology -Experience in customer and external interactions -Proven ability to lead and deliver results within a matrix team environment -Ability to work across geographies and cultures -Great communication and interpersonal skills -Fluent in Korean and English; excellent English communication skills, written and verbal *Key words: Electronic Materials, Functional Film, Display Technology, OLED, Electronics/Lighting/Emerging Application Technology
