Job Responsibilities •

-Ensure the implementation and application of agreed upon HR directions,
policies, processes, systems and programs in Korea and strives for best
practices in the standardization, harmonization and alignment of local HR
activities, but always with the business requirements in mind.

-Work closely with the Regional COE teams to develop, maintain and improve
local policies and procedures in line with corporate guidelines.

-Provide support and guidance to local management to develop people and
organization capability

-Help with succession planning by working closely with businesses/functional
leaders and HR strategic business partners.

-Support organizational changes (restructuring, mergers, acquisitions and
divestments) from HR perspective.

-Support local management in communicating HR issues properly

-Translate the business requirements and challenges into relevant HR actions
and initiatives through an understanding of the business and engagement with
the business leaders

-Lead Union negotiations at Plant site

-Establish and maintain positive, business-supportive relationships with labor
partners directly and through site leadership

-Provide LER advice and consultation on Legal initiatives and processes (e.g.
Integrity and compliance)



Qualifications

-Bachelor or above Degree in Human Resources/Industrial Relations, Psychology,
Business Administration, or equivalent, master degree is a plus

-Minimum 10 years working experience in HR field with at least 3 years at
management level. Experience in multinational companies is preferred.

-Prior experience building and executing a preventive Labor Relations
Strategy, served as the Labor Relations Lead in negotiations is a plus

-Good knowledge and practical experience on Korea labor law and Employee
Relations area

-Solid verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English

-Ability to collaborate in the matrix of HR model: Shared Service Center,
Business Partner, Center of Expertise

-Ability to facilitate business meetings, training sessions
