Responsibility:
-Product Regulatory Compliance – Korea, Thailand and other countries if
assigned (the territory).
-Provide regulatory support to all BUs to ensure product regulatory compliance
in the territory.
-Interface with the respective country contacts across all business lines as
necessary in a proactive manner to determine and comply with emerging
regulations.
-Submit country specific notification and registrations to the authorities.
-Respond to product regulatory inquiries (internal and external).
-Conduct product regulatory assessments to assist business colleagues in making
decisions on their marketing activities. notifications for the assigned
territory.
-Research and respond to internal and external customer inquiries concerning
health and safety recommendations, various local requirements and global
regulatory compliance issues for the products.
-Participate in managing, reporting and record-keeping requirements for
chemical substances as regulated by various domestic chemical control
regulations where applicable.
-Cooperate with the Global Hazard Communication (Hazcom) group to ensure that
all required Hazcom documents (eg. MSDS, labels) for products are within the
specification of the respective country¡¯s regulations.

REQUIREMENT:
-A Bachelor¡¯s Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
is the preferred minimum qualification. A degree in a Life Science,
Environmental Science or related field can also be considered if the candidate
has relevant working experience. A higher degree in a relevant specialization
is an advantage, though not required.
-Preferably 2-3 years of work experience in regulatory compliance in the
chemical industry.
-Knowledge of Korean and International Chemical Control Regulations is a
requirement. Knowledge of Thai regulations is an added advantage.
-The willingness and initiative to conduct research and learn and keep updated
with the regulations is required.
-Proficiency in spoken and written English and Korean language is essential.
